You have probably  discovered  Warhammer and Warhammer 40k, and for those who have  not after that it’s likely  often used the exceptional  personal computer  game Dawn of War.

the makers are the masterminds behind these epic franchises. As the most significant tabletop battle games company on the globe, Games Workshop may also be accountable for the more relatively new games depending on the lord of the Rings trilogy.

Just a little Record

Costly Hobby

Warhammer has progressed massively from those early days. Games Workshops commercial mind-set to the franchise has turned many unsuspecting people into serious hobbyists that are almost hooked on the system.

Miniatures are supplied unpainted and unassembled, much like an airfix model.  To collect, build and paint armies including things like hundreds of models is not for that faint hearted!  Enhance this the need to produce scenery and model buildings and you also start to enjoy some time, effort and money that fans invest into Warhammer.

The Warhammer franchise definitely seems to be eternal.  Games Workshop are clearly ready to move when using the times as demonstrated by the release of several video games in the past decade.

The impending release of a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) – Warhammer: Age of Reckoning - based in the Warhammer fantasy world is adding to the reputation of this gaming giant.  Nearly 600,000 folk have signed up hoping to getting a sneak preview on the game, providing solid evidence that Warhammer is firmly inside mainstream.
