Carp Fishing Tackle

October 28, 2009

Carp fishing whenever I go it generally costs a lot of money to buy the permit to allow me to fish on one of the better carp waters. It is understandable really as many of these fish cost more than a few hundred pounds to stock in the first place.
Therefore if and when I do manage to get a bite I want to feel confident that the tackle I am using is up to the task of landing one of these muscular underwater missiles. I do not wish to be heading home thinking if only I had!

So I go for a Greys carp rod it has everything I am looking for in a light yet all-powerful carp rod. Never let me down yet and built to last .If you go down the path of buying the cheapest you can you will only end up seeing it bust under pressure and likely when you have a personal best on. Besides with the cheaper fishing rods they do tend to be a lot heavier and at first this might not be too much to think about but as the day wears on your arms will start to detect it.

I will twin that with a Wychwood Carp Reel can not be beat in my view. Extraordinary gearing and a genuinely smooth action when you want to really crank up the pressure as the fish is bearing for snags this is the one for you it actually does come into its own.

With the right fishing line and correct sharp hooks all my tackle is perfect for the job at hand .So essentially it is down to me no apologises if the fish gets off it is my fault no one else’s.I tend to buy virtually all of my fishing gear here at the TFGear site as I have found the costs to be some of the best online and with free next day delivery
